£25,183 to £27,111 per annum</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Full Time - 37 hours per week</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Permanent </strong></p>\n<p>An exciting opportunity has become available to join our successful Recovery Team at Hastings Borough Council, collecting outstanding Council Tax income, Business Rates and BID Levies. </p>\n<p>This is a varied and interesting and we're looking for enthusiastic, driven team players who can help us carry out key responsibilities, including:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Negotiating repayment arrangements with customers</li>\n<li>Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records</li>\n<li>Deciding appropriate recovery action in line with legislation and council procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have experience of Council Tax, Business Rates debt collection and Housing Benefits overpayments and recovery procedures with a sound knowledge of relevant legislation including exemptions and discounts.</p>\n<p>We're committed to developing the right person for the role -
