<p>We are looking for a Repairs &amp; Maintenance Officer to join our small, dedicated, and friendly team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our service, coordinating day-to-day repairs and maintenance and acting as the central point of contact for our residents. You will work closely with surveyors and contractors to ensure inspections, cyclical compliance checks, and planned works are completed promptly and to a high standard.</p>
<p>We are looking for someone who is organised, calm and solution focused, with strong administrative and IT skills and a reassuring, empathetic approach.&nbsp; A-level education (or equivalent experience) is required and experience in housing repairs and maintenance is an advantage.</p>

<h4>Job summary</h4>The IT Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department and ensure the efficient delivery of IT services within the organisation. <h4>Job summary</h4><p>The SIA is the organisation responsible for the regulation of private security. It is an independent, arm’s length body (ALB) of the Home Office, reporting to the Home Secretary, under the terms of the Private Security Industry Act 2001. The SIA’s purpose Is protecting the public through effective regulation of the private security industry and working with partners to raise standards across the sector. The unit drives closer working with strategic policy and law enforcement partners, with HMPPS retaining its responsibility for operational management decisions, and Home Office for counter-terrorism and counter-extremism policy across government.</p><p>The unit encompasses the entire policy making process, from strategy to operational delivery and consists of a mix of policy officials and operational staff across England and Wales. JEXU is currently introducing, reviewing, and developing a number of counter- terrorism policies, the design and implementation of which will require leadership, specialist knowledge and understanding of extremism and terrorism. <h4>Job summary</h4><p>Every year, the Court invites applications for up to 11 Judicial Assistants to support the work of the Justices of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom and Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (JCPC). The role provides a unique opportunity for talented junior lawyers to work closely with the Justices, to observe some of the UK’s top advocates and to see how appeals are decided at the highest level. </p><p>Due to the nature of the Court’s work, in the past the majority of Judicial Assistants have been qualified to practise as a solicitor, barrister or advocate in one of the UK jurisdictions and have had some practical experience in those professions. However, the Court recognises that the most important quality needed for the role is intellectual ability and it therefore also strongly encourages applications from non-qualified candidates able to demonstrate outstanding academic knowledge of the UK legal system and advanced experience in legal research, as detailed in the eligibility requirements set out below. </p><h4>Job description</h4><p>Each Judicial Assistant is assigned, typically, to a single Justice. The UK Supreme Court hears appeals that give rise to the most challenging and complex legal issues. Many successful candidates for the role therefore hold a first-class undergraduate degree. <h4>Job summary</h4><p>You will service a number of teams across Investigation, Intelligence &amp; Threat Leadership, contributing to court proceedings by readying exhibits for court. You will be responsible for maintaining and selecting suitable environments for exhibit storage. You will work in conjunction with the teams in meeting requirements regarding extraction of evidential material from exhibits.</p><br><h4>Job description</h4><p>This is an exciting new role in Exhibit Management. You will support the Exhibit Store Manager (ESM) in the operation of the Stratford Central Exhibit store, managing the continuity of Exhibits in line with exhibit policy and legislation. </p><p>Conduct relevant health and safety procedures and report issues or identified risks in accordance with health and safety legislation and Agency policy.</p><p>Attend court and give evidence if required.</p><p>Accurately record receipt, movement and removal of exhibits, including opening/sealing actions, using appropriate NCA systems. Ensuring exhibits are placed into appropriate secure storage and maintain suitability of the storage medium selected. Whilst also taking timeous receipt of exhibits left in the out of hours area of the exhibit store including the drop box safe, recording and storing appropriately.</p><p>Appropriately package exhibits required to be sent from the exhibit store e.g. to forensics, and accurately record the movement of same.</p><p>Accurately complete forensic requests on exhibits as requested by the case team. </p><p>Select exhibits to be placed into remote storage, accurately record your actions and package exhibits appropriately to storage crates, complete appropriate paperwork, in conjunction with the case team.
