Hostel Support Officer

The Housing Needs Service is undergoing a radical transformation to achieve successful outcomes for our residents. We are seeking people who excel in building positive and trusting relationships with the skills and expertise to deliver lasting housing solutions.
We are seeking a Hostel Support Officer who wants to work in a resident-centred service. You will play a major part in making residents’ lives better in preventing and relieving homelessness. Your role will be to provide support to homeless people on the hostel register, manage day to day hostel operations, execute administrative activities, report repairs issues and record resolutions.
You will be expected to have clear knowledge of the Housing Act 1996 and Homeless Reduction Act 2017 as well as the ability to learn.
Interviews will be held week commencing 10th of August 2025.

Salary range
- £35,520 - £36,585 per year
