Support is provided in a flexible, individualised approach so that families can progress in a way that suits both parent and child’s needs whilst in a safe and stable environment. </p>\n<p>Assistance can range from basic interventions and guidance around resettlement and gaining/sustaining independent living to more intense support in areas such as </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Domestic violence</li>\n<li>Offending / Ex-offending</li>\n<li>Mental health</li>\n<li>Substance use</li>\n<li>Parenting skills – Including Child Protection,  custody arrangements, mediation, supervised contact</li>\n<li>Safety in the home / family wellbeing.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Biscot House</strong> Luton delivers accommodation based/housing related support to single men aged 18+.  The service has 9 units of accommodation (including disabled access).</p>\n<p>Our service aims to support those with Housing Support needs and low support needs such as:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mental health</li>\n<li>Learning disabilities</li>\n<li>Physical disabilities</li>\n<li>Substance use </li>\n<li>Offenders / Ex-Offenders  </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Biscot House provides a supportive base to gain the skills and confidence to secure and maintain appropriate future living in the community – this may be independent or long term supported accommodation. The assistance provided by Biscot House is led by the individual and varies from basic interventions and guidance around resettlement and gaining/sustaining independent living.</p>\n<p>Biscot House provides support for clients to end the cycle of homelessness. This will include assessing client needs and providing support to meet these needs, completing safety plans, ensuring the client can identify and access relevant services, liaising with other statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure the appropriate support for clients.</p>\n<p>You will be allocated a caseload of between 5 and 7 clients who have a history of non-engagement, rough sleeping and complex needs.
