About the role
We are seeking to appoint a committed and suitably qualified Hourly Paid Lecturer to tutor and teach groups of young people with learning disabilities and SEND on our highly successful supported internship programmes. &nbsp;Based primarily on the host business premises, you will work closely with our partners to deliver an innovative and ambitious curriculum that will enable interns to achieve their ambition of gaining substantial and sustainable paid employment.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience of delivering a structured educational programme to students on an employability focussed programme. You will have the ability to work flexibly as part of a multi-agency team to ensure high levels of responsiveness to students’ needs, and the ability to offer stimulating, stretching and individualised teaching to a consistently high standard. You will be able to deliver accredited learning, including work based learning, and meet awarding body and internal moderation requirements. &nbsp;You will have excellent communication, and organisational skills, and a positive approach to problem solving and innovation.&nbsp;

Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham (CAHF) is a busy, dynamic award winning Service.&nbsp; We deliver a variety of projects via face to face and digital media.&nbsp;
Since 2012 we have delivered a volunteer led community library service at Avonmore library.&nbsp; In April 2024 we embarked on running a second community focused library at Askew Road. To support CAHF community library delivery at both libraries, we introduced the role of Community Library Coordinator.&nbsp;
Purpose of the Role: 
In addition to traditional library duties—such as managing stock inventory and delivering storytime sessions for under-5s—the Community Library Coordinator plays a key role in positioning the library as a vibrant hub within the local area. The library offers a diverse programme of activities for users of all ages throughout the week. Working collaboratively with colleagues, the Coordinator will oversee and help develop engaging library events, while also supporting the dedicated volunteers who contribute to the successful delivery of our community-focused services.
About You: 
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with enthusiasm for working in the library sector. You should be confident in promoting the library service and delivering excellent customer service to a diverse range of users. While previous library experience is desirable, it is not essential.
The roles require:&nbsp;

<li>A good level of community awareness, with experience of working with diverse communities</li>
<li>Excellent customer care skills</li>
<li>An interest in literacy and reading</li>
<li>The ability to recruit, induct, and support library volunteers in service delivery</li>

<li>The ability to oversee the library events calendar and work with both new and existing partners to develop additional community-focused activities</li>
<li>The ability to adapt and respond to complex, ever-changing environments, taking opportunities to improve the way things are done</li>
</ul>
No two days are the same, so a positive and flexible attitude is essential. The role includes working on a rota Saturday basis, and evening shift up 7pm each week.

About the Role 
 
As the External Funding Officer, you will be instrumental in helping Enfield Council grow and diversify its funding base. The role offers the opportunity to shape how the borough attracts and deploys funding to support transformative initiatives and deliver long-term value for our communities. 
 
You will take a proactive approach to identifying emerging funding opportunities, particularly from government, charitable, and regional sources, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to coordinate strategic responses. A key element of the role will be developing and maintaining an external funding pipeline—ensuring timely, relevant intelligence reaches senior officers and service leads. 
 
The successful candidate will: 
 
 - Lead on the preparation and submission of high-quality funding bids, ensuring alignment with Enfield’s strategic priorities. 
 - Provide expert advice and project management support to officers working on complex or high-value funding bids. 
 - Develop an overarching External Funding Strategy for the Council, promoting cross-departmental collaboration and oversight. 
 - Build and nurture relationships with key external stakeholders, including central government departments, funding agencies, voluntary and community sector partners, and regional organisations such as the GLA. 
 - Support a culture of shared learning and continuous improvement by establishing internal communities of practice around external funding. 
 
This is a varied, hands-on role that offers high visibility and strategic influence within the organisation. You’ll be a key enabler of innovation and social impact, ensuring that Enfield can effectively leverage external resources to support its ambitions and tackle the challenges ahead 
 
About You

 - A strong track record of writing successful bids and securing funding from government bodies, charitable trusts, or public-private partnerships. 
 - A good understanding of the national and regional policy landscape and how this shapes funding priorities and opportunities for local authorities. 
 - Excellent research, analytical, and project coordination skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into compelling funding proposals. 
 - Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you’ll need to work confidently with senior leaders, elected Members, external partners, and cross-departmental teams. 
 - The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities, demonstrating sound judgement and a solution-focused mindset.
