Job Title:&nbsp;Night Concierge Location:&nbsp;This residential site, located in Brighton, benefits from great transport links, with Hove Station and several local bus routes nearby. Kindly be aware that step free access is not available at this service.
Salary:&nbsp;£24,570
Shift Pattern:&nbsp;37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, shifts are overnight ranging between 21:30-08:30 and 19:30-08:30 on a rolling 4 on, 4 off rota, which may mean weekly hours vary slightly. You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota, in line with the needs of the service.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a calm, reliable and friendly Night Concierge to join our supported team. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming and well run environment overnight, offering reassurance and practical support to residents when they need it most.
This service is a safe and supportive home for women who’ve experienced homelessness. We work with women with a range of supporting needs from complex and high level to more moderate or low level including help around mental health, substance use, domestic abuse and past offending.
This role is key to ensuring our services remain secure and responsive throughout the night. You’ll carry out regular safety checks, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and provide helpful handovers to the day team. You’ll also support residents with any queries, maintain clear records, and help keep the environment clean and safe. The role includes:

<li>Ensuring our buildings are safe by monitoring, completing welfare checks and responding affectively and appropriately to emergencies</li>
<li>Maintaining professionalism and kindness with visitors, attending to calls, managing deliveries and ensuring great communication with the team</li>
<li>Providing clear morning handovers with key updates on residents, incidents, or safeguarding concerns</li>
<li>Working with the wider team to make sure any urgent issues are picked up and followed through</li>
<li>Adapting to service needs to support risk assessments, safeguarding checks, and service standards</li>
<li>Supporting residents to build confidence and independence, contributing to a psychologically informed space where everyone is treated with respect and dignity</li>
<li>Noticing when someone might be struggling with their physical or mental health, and taking prompt action to prevent escalation</li>
<li>Helping to keep the environment clean and welcoming from tidying communal spaces to reporting repairs and completing admin tasks accurately and sensitively</li>

The Role
The Falkland Islands Government Air Service provides an essential inter-island passenger and freight service as well as aerial surveillance of the fishery conservation zone around the islands.
A Licensed Aircraft Engineer is required to join the small maintenance team responsible for the continuous maintenance of the fleet of five BN Islander aircraft. This involves routine and remedial maintenance, repairs and rectification of the aircraft and its associated systems.
The Person
Applicants must hold an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence with preferably at least 4 years’ experience, Type Rated on BN2B Islander aircraft, and Lycoming 0-540 Engines. Additionally, the applicant must have a minimum of 6 months experience on Islander aircraft logged during the preceding two years.&nbsp; Full details of the essential and desirable requirements for the post are outlined in the application pack.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Complaints Performance Officer to work within the Council’s Customer Services Team to ensure that the Council is dealing with complaints in line with our policy.&nbsp;
Your role will be to carry out quality assurance, submit reports to cabinet and senior leadership team around performance as well as ensuring we are compliant with the Ombudsman’s Complaint Handling Code.
You will have experience of dealing with complaints and providing feedback to others to drive through improvements and will be committed to high standards of customer service.
The post holder will have the ability to work with minimal supervision and be capable of prioritising workloads.&nbsp; You will have direct contact with colleagues from every service area in the council so excellent interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
You will have excellent keyboard and communication skills and be committed to high standards of customer service.
This is a temporary post until 31st March 2027, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional requirement to work evenings.
