The Environmental Education Project, based at Rosliston Forestry Centre delivers award winning outdoor sessions and provides fun learning experiences for schools, volunteers, corporate groups, individuals and families at Rosliston and across the National Forest. We are looking to expand our team with casual Rangers who can lead conservation groups of individual and corporate volunteers. Casual Environmental Education Rangers: days/ hours according to bookings and taking into account your availability and preferences. We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Social Worker in Derbyshire Dales Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START). You will be part of a fast-paced and highly specialist team who are focused on the wellbeing, empowerment and reablement of people in our community. Wherever possible we aim to prevent the need for hospital admissions and entry into longer term care settings. We enable people that are stepping down following a hospital stay, helping them to achieve their full potential to live as safely, independently and as well as possible in their own homes. About you
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturers in Science, who can teach any or all disciplines (Biology and Chemistry), in order to contribute to the teaching and development of these subjects within our School of Science.&nbsp; You must be able to teach on AS/A2, BTEC and Higher Education courses. Experience of Access Courses would be an advantage. It is essential that you are experienced in tutoring, assessing, recording and tracking students on different courses.
The successful candidate should have a degree (or equivalent) in a related area. You should also be familiar with the current BTEC and A level curriculum and we encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory
You will have sound organisational skills, your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential.
You will also possess a recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment.&nbsp; Excellent communication, administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team and contribute positively and creatively are also essential in this role.

We are looking for tutors that have:

<li>Experience of teaching adult learners to gain a qualification is essential for the accredited programmes.</li>
<li>An inspiring an innovative approach to teaching.</li>
<li>Commitment to provide high quality and efficient service to meet the needs of leaners, enabling all learners to reach their full potential.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and motivate learners.</li>
<li>Experience of effective planning, delivery, and assessment.</li>
<li>Flexibility to deliver borough-wide learning, supporting our wider communities.</li>
<li>Awareness of and comply with safeguarding and prevent procedures, reporting any concerns to the DSGO</li>
<li>Flexibility to work different days and occasional evenings and weekend.</li>
</ul>
The hours will be variable and based upon the number of courses requested by partners. Hours could be zero on occasion and substantial at other times Interviews to be held Ad hoc
