You will provide direct support to these children and young people, while developing and maintaining individual care plans and risk profiles to promote their welfare and safety.</p>\n<p>You will facilitate effective communication, using each child’s preferred method of interaction, and collaborate with families, social care, and educational agencies to ensure comprehensive support.</p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include engaging in goal planning and key working, assisting with personal care while encouraging independence, and participating in our Sleep Clinic Programmes and transition initiatives for young adults. Active listening is essential, as you will incorporate children’s views into service planning.</p>\n<p>To qualify, you should hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People Services, or an equivalent qualification. Relevant experience working with children or young adults, ideally with disabilities, is also required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential, along with a sensitive approach to the needs of children and their families.</p>\n<p>This position involves a shift rota, including early and late shifts, some sleep-ins, and weekends.
