Join us and contribute to making a positive impact on our community.</p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\"><span class=\"customHTML\"><strong class=\"customHTML\">The Role</strong></span></p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\">We are seeking dedicated and experienced Social Workers to join our Children in Care Team. The Children in Care team provide Social Work services to children and young people who are in the care of North Somerset Council and have a care plan to remain in care on a long term basis. Our team work closely with the Fostering Service, Leaving Care Service and Virtual School.</p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\"><strong class=\"customHTML\">We have two permanent positions available, one full time, 37hrs position and one part time, 22.2hrs position. </strong></p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\">We are looking for qualified Social Workers who have the necessary skills, experience and motivation to promote positive outcomes for children in care. The team work well together, and you will be supported by regular supervision.</p>\n<p class=\"customHTML\">In this role, you will be the allocated social worker for a number of children and young people who are in care and whose care plan is long term care. You will undertake assessments, care planning and therapeutic interventions to support children in care.
