Required for September 2025, we are looking to appoint a committed and experienced learning support assistant to work with our pupils in our brand new SEND Unit for children with SEMH – Social, Emotional &amp; Mental Health needs.
We are seeking to employ an experienced learning support assistant with expertise in supporting pupils, with a range of additional and significant needs, particularly SEMH difficulties. The learning support assistant will work in the team, be led, and line managed by our SEND Unit Lead. Staff work in a positive and collaborative environment where the needs of the children are at the heart of all best practice and decision-making. The team will also work together to establish the SEND Unit to ensure it becomes integral to the provision of the whole school.

We are looking for a learning support assistant who has at least an NVQ level 3 and should have relevant experience in the area of working with pupils with high need.

The London Assembly is looking for a talented researcher to join its highly-regarded scrutiny team, where you will be investigating some of the key challenges facing London and examining the Mayor’s policies to address them.&nbsp;
We are looking for someone with proven research, analysis, data visualisation and drafting skills, who is seeking to gain or extend their experience delivering impartial research and research support in a political environment.&nbsp;
In this role, you will be part of a research team and will contribute to producing and delivering a wide-range of projects, research, briefings, reports and outputs for the London Assembly, its committees and its Members. You will be assigned to support the Research Unit in the Assembly, and tasked with work to support Committee investigations through conducting high quality research and analysis, as well as scrutiny support work.

Job description
Principal Accountabilities
Support the Assembly’s committees and their teams to carry out effective investigations into issues of importance to Londoners, including by:
Conducting research and analysis in support of Assembly investigations.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Produce accurate, timely and effective contributions to Committee briefings and outputs, including leading the production of briefing and outputs where appropriate;
Maintain regular research / monitoring systems for topical press reports and GLA policy developments;
Ensuring the accuracy of committee investigation outputs on behalf of the team by conducting detailed proofreading and fact checking;
Help to monitor the implementation and impact of the Assembly’s recommendations.

The Planning and Scheduling team are hiring for experienced Work Planners to be part&nbsp;of our regional operational maintenance teams. We have fixed term and permanent jobs.
The successful candidates will work alongside a team of planners and will&nbsp;report into the Operations Support Team Leader. The planners work in shifts over and between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday 8am to 1pm.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Crime Analysis, the Service Support Officer will work as part of the Strategic Crime Analysis Team within the City Intelligence Unit. This team is responsible for the running and management of both the SafeStats data service and the Information Sharing to Tackle Violence (ISTV) programme. The role holder will be required to help maintain the SafeStats data service and the ISTV programme, while also being involved in development work to enhance and improve upon the service provision and efficiency of both. The role will contribute to making London a safer place to live, work and visit, through supporting the Mayor’s priorities around crime, public safety, and public health.
