We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person to join our Electoral Services team.
The successful candidate will play a part in the preparation for, and conduct of, all elections and referendums. You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the electoral register.
Brent is a large borough with approximately 235,000 registered electors and 130 polling stations. In 2024 we delivered very successful London Mayoral and parliamentary general elections, with staff demonstrating high levels of commitment, strong technical skills and collaboration.
Brent prides itself on its culture and the council is passionate about improving services, putting customers at its heart and supporting its staff. We offer a blend of remote and office based working. This is a politically restricted post.

Principal Engineer – Electrification and Power

<h4>Job summary</h4>We are looking for an 18 Months Fixed Term Regulatory Analyst to join ORR's Periodic Reviews &amp; Monitoring team that sits within the Economics, Finance and Markets (EFM) Directorate. The directorate leads ORR’s work on the funding of railway infrastructure in Great Britain, financial and economic analysis within ORR, and ORR’s competition work. The team’s focus is on the funding process for the railway infrastructure and assessing how Network Rail is delivering against its commitments. We work closely with colleagues across ORR, as well as with governments, Network Rail, and other stakeholders.<h4>Job description</h4><p>You will play a key part in preparing for the next funding process for the railway infrastructure in Great Britain.
