As a Round Leader of a small crew, you will have good communication and customer service skills to enable you to engage with colleagues and members of the public in a polite and professional manner. You must be a team player, quick learner and able to carry out a range of duties including: Use of the vehicles in cab devices, &nbsp;moving, handling and loading of refuse , recycling, garden and food waste. You will be expected to to work with minimum supervision.&nbsp; &nbsp; The work involves driving, operating machinery and heavy manual labour therefore you must be physically fit and mobile.&nbsp; Experience of rear-steer vehicles would be advantageous. Team Overview The OPG Estates and Health &amp; Safety function sits within the Strategy and Central Services Directorate and has two separate teams present at both Embankment House in Nottingham and Victoria Square House in Birmingham. We manage contractors and suppliers to deliver essential facilities services such as workplace maintenance, property and leasehold, cleaning, and facilities management. Many of these services are business critical and we cannot safely open our offices without them. Duties and Responsibilities This is a challenging and fast-paced post, which will have responsibility for managing our teams at Embankment House and Victoria Square House and ensuring efficient delivery of our Estates &amp; H&amp;S services. Digital and data services at the GLA play a critical role in enabling the delivery of the functions of the Mayor of London and the London Assembly, and a dedicated focus on user needs is critical to ensuring these services provide the best experience for our users.
This matrix-managed role sits in the Product team, but will work with the Grant Services team; a newly formed team situated within the Digital Experience Unit who are designing a new service to support grants management across the GLA Group.

The Waste Strategy team works across our in-house waste operations (domestic and commercial), street cleaning and fleets departments. We improve the Council’s operational services and support business as usual activity. We focus on supporting, developing and delivering initiatives that improve council operations cost efficiency and deliver performance improvements in nationally reported KPI’s. We also develop and deliver income generation programmes.&nbsp;&nbsp;An opportunity has arisen to work with the Waste Strategy and Improvement team to lead on administering the Council's £1.85m garden waste subscription service while providing specialist responses to resident enquiries and assisting with team projects.
This roles responsibilities include -

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Centres Manager to lead a professional team, to manage the facilities and provide tailored business growth support for its businesses whilst attracting and generating new business.&nbsp; The postholder will ensure a professional, practical and comprehensive support service is provided to clients at both HIC and HEC.
With previous experience in a similar role, the successful candidate will hold a relevant HND / degree (e.g. Business, Management, Finance, Law) or be able to demonstrate equivalent aptitude.&nbsp; You will have experience of generating income and supporting clients in a business-to-business environment and managing a team and a large budget.&nbsp; You will be professional, proactive and conscientious and have excellent sales, customer service, leadership and communication skills to ensure good working relationships are formed and be a competent user in MS Office including, Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
The role will involve taking ownership for collating and analysing data in order to produce reports and recommendations to the Corporate and Senior Management Team.
You will be a highly motivated individual who is able to use your initiative to work independently in order to solve problems and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.&nbsp; You must be able to adopt a flexible approach to your work, and occasional work outside normal office hours may be required.
