About The Role
A Deputy Area Planning Manager plays a critical role in the delivery of the Development Management service. The post holder has responsibility for processing some of the most strategically important development in the borough while managing and mentoring skilled staff within the area planning teams. About the role
We're looking for a Mental Health Floating Support Coordinator to join our team which delivers support to individuals living within the community who have support needs pertaining to their mental health and wellbeing.&nbsp;
In this role you will support adults aged 18+ who have a primary mental health need, including complex needs and dual diagnosis to create personalised support plans and proactive support work to engage them with the opportunities available for them to live independently within the community.&nbsp;
You will support with all aspects of supporting our participants to develop their social skills and independent living skills to help them manage their mental health, delivering crisis prevention.
About you
We're looking for someone who has a true passion for what we do as an organisation, and particularly in supporting those who have suffered from mental health and may have other complex needs. Our community and residents needs are at the forefront of service delivery, so someone who can build trusting professional relationships is key. You will be adaptable, proactive, and able to use your initiative to resolve challenges.. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent literacy, communication and ICT skills. They must be able to prioritise their own workload effectively and efficiently and supervise staff in a busy office environment particularly during elections.
Previous experience of working in an electoral office would be desirable. However, a broad understanding of office administration is essential.

<li>Deliver the Council’s arboricultural service to meet objectives, ensure value for money, and maintain compliance with legislation and best practice.</li>
<li>Survey and monitor the Council’s tree stock in line with our agreed strategy.</li>
<li>Work closely with contractors and colleagues to implement our tree management programme effectively.</li>
<li>Act as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders on tree management matters.</li>
<li>Respond to and resolve resident enquiries efficiently, including conducting site visits where required.</li>
<li>Prepare reports on tree-related issues, such as insurance claims, dangerous trees, and high hedge applications.</li>
<li>Develop and promote innovative schemes that encourage engagement with the Council’s tree policies.</li>
<li>Provide technical advice in a consultancy capacity to promote arboricultural best practices.</li>
<li>Manage and deliver the arboricultural components of the Council’s We Know Services, including undertaking surveys across the country and preparing technical reports.</li>

About you

<li>Holds the relevant qualifications including PTI certificate and experience as an arboricultural surveyor,</li>

About the Role
As a Project Officer in our Buildings, Structural, Civils &amp; Marine division, you will play a key role in supporting the Principal Officer and Senior Officers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across the Merseytravel estate. Working within a dynamic matrix structure, you will help coordinate the delivery of projects for both existing and refurbished assets, whilst drawing on the expertise of our internal teams and, where needed, external partners.
In this role, you will assist in managing suppliers and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard - helping us meet and exceed client expectations. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure that keeps our community moving.
About the person
The Project Officer should have a relevant HNC / NVQ or equivalent qualification, or experience of estate maintenance in a multi-disciplinary environment while ensuring the safe, reliable operation and utilisation of the estate. The role requires an understanding of the Health and Safety duties required for running large commercial building / construction contracts and be conversant with environmental legislation and codes of practice. The Project Officer should have basic knowledge of industry specific contracts and their relevance and suitability to building and construction projects, be commercially aware and must possess the ability to negotiate and deliver commercial contracts. The candidate must be computer literate with a high degree of ICT skills, have a flexible approach to work and have excellent communication skills.
