Rate: £17.50 per hour for self-employed or £13.71 for employed

Hours: 4 hours per week - one hour in the morning, Monday to Sunday (hours could be shared, to be discussed at interview)

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: 25th July 2026

A client living in Thurmaston requires support from a Personal Assistant.

Role Requirements

You will be required to support the client with:

• washing and dressing
• morning routines
• domestic tasks
• accessing the community
• shopping
• attending temple
• going on walks
• visiting places of interest.

Ideally you will speak Gujarati as this is their first language and they can only speak a limited amount of English.

The client has had a stroke, has weakness in their hands, reduced mobility, and type II diabetes. They used to attend yoga prior to their stroke, they like being active and enjoy going to temples, shopping, and parks for walks.

For short distances the client will use a Zimmer frame and rollator. They have a wheelchair for longer distances.

You must have a full, clean UK driving licence. Milegae will be paid by the client.
