About the Role

You will oversee day-to-day maintenance and site operations, support and supervise Duty Rangers, and work alongside staff and volunteers to ensure tasks are delivered consistently and efficiently across multiple locations. The role combines practical, on-site problem solving with coordination of planned maintenance, asset monitoring and contractor-led works.
Working closely with colleagues, you will help ensure that play areas, paths, car parks, public facilities and visitor information are well maintained and presented to a high standard. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of recreation services by supporting events and commercial activity, and by feeding into longer-term planning for infrastructure, accessibility and visitor experience.

Make a real difference in children's lives by becoming a Co-opted Governor at our school, where we pride ourselves on being welcoming, kind, polite, and successful.&nbsp;
The role is a voluntary one and involves working strategically with school leaders to help shape the school's vision, set priorities, and support long-term improvement.&nbsp;
Meetings take place every half term, usually starting at 5pm or 6pm, with some reading required beforehand and a willingness to take an active role in discussions. It is estimated that attendance at meetings, reading before meetings, link governor meetings and other governance tasks may take approximately 8 hours per half term, at times this may be more and at times this may be less.&nbsp;
We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with&nbsp; knowledge or experience in:&nbsp; Property, estates or facilities management&nbsp; Health &amp; safety compliance or risk management&nbsp; Construction, surveying or architecture&nbsp;

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Contract Lawyer to join our Legal Services Team here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a full-time, permanent basis.
As a Senior Contract Lawyer, you will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert within your area of legal specialism. You will help ensure the Council delivers on its vision, values and strategic objectives through the provision of clear, consistent and proactive legal support.
Previous Local Government experience is not required to apply for this position.
In this senior role, you will handle a varied and often complex caseload, including politically sensitive matters, exercising a high level of autonomy and professional judgement, and you will need to be a solution-focused negotiator with a strong sense of commercial risk. You will also contribute to the effective management and development of the Legal Services team—supporting colleagues, assisting with performance management, and deputising for senior leaders when required.
Like all of the Council’s Legal Services we work flexibly with most lawyers working primarily from home, although the successful candidate must be able to attend our offices for in-person meetings based on business needs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Guildford Borough Council’s high-performing Planning Policy team as a&nbsp;Principal Strategic Infrastructure Officer. You’ll be joining a dynamic and successful team with a proven track record in Local Plan preparation, including the adoption of two Local Plans in the past six years. We are now at the early stages of producing a new Local Plan under the new plan-making process —making this a particularly exciting time to get involved and help shape the future growth of the borough.
About the Role
This role plays a key part in supporting the development of infrastructure strategy and policy for the Local Plan and other planning policy projects. You will:

<li>Lead the preparation of infrastructure evidence, including the Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP) and plan viability assessments.</li>
<li>Oversee the commissioning and development of evidence to support the implementation and review of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful planning and delivery of infrastructure aligned with the Local Plan.</li>
</ul>
About You
You will have:
<ul>
<li>A recognised degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning.</li>
<li>Chartered membership of the RTPI (or eligibility for membership).</li>
<li>Proven experience in infrastructure planning and Local Plan preparation within a Local Authority setting.</li>
<li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across a wide range of stakeholders.</li>
