We have an exciting opportunity available for an Active Travel Officer (Cycle Training/Schools) to join the My Journey team in a permanent, part-time role supporting the programme objectives to fulfil the borough’s needs for cycle training with all ages, in schools and communities, including management of our Bikeability cycle training programme.

This position will require limited weekend work to check and feed the animals. Hours will be fairly flexible depending on the needs of the farm and will be discussed at interview.

Reporting to the Principal Officer - Investment, this is a key role in the successful management of the Housing Stock data of over 5700 properties.&nbsp; You will be responsible for the surveying, collation and management of the stock data as well as the analysis of the data to assist in the planning and implementation of the capital works programmes.
The role requires a detailed knowledge of building construction methods and materials backed up with a formal qualification, the ability to identify and diagnose defects and arrive at appropriate solutions as well as experience of undertaking stock condition surveys.

We will help you through your APC with work time to study and provide a programme of in-house training and CPDs to help you grow and succeed. Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
We offer the opportunity for the suitable candidate to choose to &nbsp;work in a hybrid way. Your specific working arrangements will be subject to team and service working arrangements already in place alongside Government guidance. &nbsp;Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
