Our Service has a crucial role in helping to deliver this aim. </p>\n<p>The Community Protection team sits within a traditional Environmental Health Service that includes the Food and Health and Safety, Private Sector Housing and Licensing Teams. There are offices based in both Hailsham and Bexhill. Members of the team work flexibly, combining work from home with site visits and working in the office at least 2 days a week. </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responding to complaints, dealing with a programme of inspections and responsible for specialist activities and cases, achieving annual inspection targets</li>\n<li>Allocating work within the team and being responsible for the performance of officers of the team and monitoring workflow.
