In Shared Lives, a person lives or stays with a Shared Lives carer within the local community. Job Title:&nbsp;Mental Health Recovery Worker
Location:&nbsp;Based in Enfield (Nearest overground Enfield Town, Bus Routes available) Unfortunately there is no step free access at this service.&nbsp;
Salary:&nbsp;£27,000
Shift Pattern:&nbsp;Average 37.5 per week ranging from 32 - 43 depending on the rota. Covering nights Monday to Sunday between 20:30 - 8:00. Flexibility may be required as per service requirements and some shifts may fall on a bank holiday which will fall under usual work patterns.
<h4>About the Role</h4>
We’re looking for a Night Recovery Worker to join our 24/7 supported accommodation service based in Enfield. You will work in a vibrant care and rehabilitation service, offering 21 beds to adults with complex mental health needs. You will join a team which consists of a Service Manager, Deputy Service Manager, a day team of 10, and a night team of 4. You will be a present member of the team on the night shift, with a minimum of 2 people working per shift. We are here to promote independence and give our residents the tools needed to fulfil their lives in the community independently.
In this role, you will play a key role in supporting our residents on their journey to recovery, reablement, and rehabilitation, you’ll support individuals transitioning from complex care or acute mental health services to a structured rehabilitation setting. Working closely with various teams, you’ll help provide tailored, person-centred and trauma informed support for residents to overcome personal challenges, and meet their desired goals/outcomes and support medication compliance, making a real difference every day.
Key Responsibilities include:&nbsp;

<li>Provide tailored support to residents/participants to help them achieve their personal goals and outcomes.</li>
<li>Deliver all required aspects of the service efficiently and consistently. This includes welfare checks, support sessions, safeguarding monitoring, risk assessments, and involvement in training and development.</li>
<li>Help design, create, and be part of service led activities which could include games nights, movie nights, cooking, and other activities to bring residents together and promote independence and relationship building.</li>

<li>Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours or a good understanding of the sector.</li>
<li>IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, basic Microsoft experience</li>
<li>Understanding and/or practical application of key legislation regarding social care, housing, criminal justice and mental health</li>
<li>Cultural awareness, Self-awareness, and ability to identify personal growth areas and take feedback</li>
