Job Title:&nbsp;Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker&nbsp;

Shift Pattern:&nbsp;37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota which includes 3 to 4 night shifts a week between 20:00 - 08:30. There may be some flexibility required around these hours as per service requirements.
<h4>About the Role</h4>
We're looking for a Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker to support in leading the night shift within our Lewisham service. The service offers specialist intensive rehabilitation for people who require more enhanced interventions than that which is offered within community services. Our residents typically stay with us for up to nine months upon being discharged from acute wards, avoiding admission into inpatient rehabilitation. We provide residents with support to step down into less supported accommodation, becoming more independent and integrated into the community.&nbsp;
As a Senior within the team, you will be the main point of contact during the night shift across two residential properties, leading the team by example, providing specialist support and managing the environment to be psychologically informed to empower the team and residents to ensure safety, wellbeing, and progress towards resident recovery goals. You will hold a caseload, providing person centred, tailored support to residents directly to help them overcome their personal challenges, meeting their goals and confidence. The Night Team play a crucial role in continuing the high quality support provided during the day, ensuring a safe, respectful, and responsive environment for residents. You will be expected to remain awake, alert, accessible and actively engaged throughout the shift.&nbsp;
Some key responsibilities include:

<li>Providing tailored, person centred support that promotes recovery, rehabilitation and independence.</li>
<li>Helping residents build skills and confidence to move towards independent or supported living.</li>
<li>Monitoring residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records and handovers to ensure effective communication between shifts.</li>
<li>Ensuring a calm, safe, and supportive environment that promotes positive engagement and progress.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with colleagues and the management team to deliver high quality care.</li>
<li>Remain alert and monitor CCTV throughout the shift.</li>
<li>Complete all routine night duties and any tasks handed over by the day shift or service manager.</li>
<li>Key worker responsibilities: complete inductions, support plans, reviews, risk assessments, and welfare checks; update records, monitor access, manage unauthorized visitors, follow missing person protocols, and escalate issues to on call when needed.</li>

Key priorities for the service are ensuring that our book stock is representative of and relevant to our communities; encouraging Reading for Pleasure for all; developing our Digital Lending offer; building on our innovative approach to the Summer Reading Challenge; developing our Under 5s offer; and delivering a high quality library offer.&nbsp; There are 10 libraries across the borough delivering a high number of opening hours and a large number of events and activities.&nbsp; Library and Senior Library Assistants have an essential role in delivering this ambition.&nbsp;They carry out a range of tasks including but not limited to: assisting customers with transactions; shelving of books and book displays; providing digital assistance and basic digital skills sessions; information provision and sign-posting; running or supporting events and activities including Under 5s storytimes; and promoting books and reading.&nbsp;On occasions Library and Senior Library assistants may also be required to support outreach activities or resident forums.&nbsp;As duty managers, Senior Library Assistants may be required to open and close buildings; take bookings and payments; oversee staff activity; and carry out cashing up / banking functions. Housing Liaison Officer (Termination &amp; Sign Up Officer) £41,133 - £43,680 per annum 1 Permanent Post This position reports to the Termination &amp; Sign-Up Team Leader and is part of Strategic Void Management. This job has no direct line management of staff. The role will predominately be signing up applicants ensuring they are issued the correct tenancy and also at times carrying out Accompanied Viewings with tenants. Another function the post holder will be responsible for is ensuring tenancies are terminated speedily within housing law to ensure no delays in the voids process. This post will also be responsible for updating NEC property, voids module and other associated spreadsheet to allow the monitoring of void properties, sign-ups and tenancy termination. The post is based at Bridge Road Depot and is not a hybrid role with the post holder having to attend the office five days a week., &nbsp; It would be advantageous for the candidate to have knowledge of housing law, LBN’s housing stock, voids and any qualifications relating to housing or housing law.
