About the role
You will have a chance to work on a range of interesting tasks across projects, at the forefront of the sector–helping to tackle some of the cross-cutting problems impacting infrastructure planning and delivery in the capital by:

 This role requires a strong technical background, with practical experience in GIS tools, ideally ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Online. Experience in the use of: databases (e.g. PostgresSQL); data processing tools; (e.g. FME), Application Programming Interfaces (APIs); and codebases e.g. R/Python would be advantageous. Experience in infrastructure/utilities sector a bonus, but not essential.
What your day will look like
Assisting with the delivery of digital and data support services (particularly the Infrastructure Mapping Application Explorer Tool), including creating mapping visualisations of data in support of the team, and responding to ad-hoc requests and enquiries as required.
Working closely with the team’s and wider organisation’s existing data and technical expertise to help, design, develop, and support tools on behalf of its stakeholders.

Skills, knowledge and experience
To be considered for the role you must meet the following essential criteria:

Job purpose
To support the work of the Infrastructure team’s Data &amp; Innovation digital tools (particularly the Infrastructure Mapping Application - IMA), through carrying out spatial analysis, producing innovative, customised web mapping applications and by managing and maintaining databases.
Principal accountabilities
Assist with the delivery of digital and data support services (particularly the IMA), including creating mapping visualisations of data in support of the Unit, and responding to ad-hoc requests and enquiries as required.

The GLA’s Housing &amp; Land directorate is responsible for the Mayor’s plans to deliver new and improved homes and strong communities. Working closely with boroughs, housing associations, developers and other partners, we manage the Mayor’s housing investment programmes, commissioned services and land and property assets to support the supply of affordable homes, job creation and regeneration.&nbsp;&nbsp;
About the Strategy &amp; Policy team

The Strategy and Policy team is responsible for the Mayor’s housing strategy for London and for developing policy across a broad range of areas including new housing supply, specialist housing, homelessness, rough sleeping, building safety and the private rented sector. In relation to new housing, the team works closely with planning and regeneration colleagues at a strategic level in the pursuit of mayoral and government ambitions for housing delivery. About the role
You will lead the Strategy &amp; Policy team to drive forward the Mayor’s priorities for housing and ensure that Londoners have access to safe, decent and affordable homes. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for a team of 20 to deliver the Mayor’s Housing Strategy and respond to London’s housing crisis. You will work closely with the Deputy Mayor for Housing &amp; Residential Development and the wider mayoral team to provide advice on strategy and policy, and support broad engagement with stakeholders – especially government. You will also work closely with senior leaders across Housing &amp; Land, the GLA Group, local and national government and the wider housing sector to support delivery of key housing objectives and programmes through strategic advice, policy development and analysis. We are looking for somebody with the ability to be a visible and proactive leader for one of the Mayor’s highest priority areas. About the role
You’ll lead an established and growing team responsible for delivering exceptional supporter care, accurate income processing and the high-quality fundraising compliance.&nbsp; This is a hands-on leadership role where strategic thinking meets operational delivery.&nbsp; You’ll manage people, processes, platforms and performance.

The London Situational Awareness Team provides real-time situational awareness and acts as the first point of contact for the London Resilience Partnership in major incidents, ensuring coordinated communication and enabling a swift, proactive response to incidents and events across London.
<h2>About the role</h2>
As a Situational Awareness Officer, you will serve as the key point of contact for the Greater London Authority (GLA) during your shift, providing vital early warnings, incident monitoring, and maintaining situational awareness on real-time events. You will be tasked with producing accurate, timely, and analytically sound reports in response to unfolding situations, ensuring that decision-makers have the information they need to act quickly and effectively. Additionally, you will work to maintain the flow of information between the GLA, government departments, and other key stakeholders, helping to ensure clarity and consistency in the response to incidents.
In this role, you will build and cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that intelligence, briefings, and reports are delivered consistently and accurately. Your ability to deliver both written and oral reports to senior staff and other stakeholders, while highlighting critical issues and potential impacts, will be essential. Your insight will help shape the GLA's response to various events across the city, making your contribution crucial to maintaining London's operational resilience.
To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in open-source intelligence and collection methodologies, with the ability to transform this information into actionable insights. A strong understanding of information management principles and data protection legislation is key, alongside experience providing guidance during incidents. About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has become available at Hadlow College for a Residential Support Officer to join our dedicated residential team who were rated outstanding by Ofsted in June 2024. You’ll play a key role in supporting the wellbeing and personal development of students living on campus, many of whom are experiencing independent living for the first time.
Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll help deliver high-quality pastoral care and encourage student engagement in both academic life and a wide range of personal and social development opportunities. This includes involvement in Learner Voice initiatives, the Student Union, and Health &amp; Wellbeing activities.
This position follows a rota-based schedule during term time, with shifts ranging between 8am and 1am. You will also be part of an emergency ‘on-call’ rota, typically covering one shift per week.

The Role:
Where you’ll work: This role is based at our Hadlow College campus.
